The Bartlett Manual of Impact

I was delighted to continue my collaborations with Dr Gemma Moore from UCL Bartlett, this time working to create case study films to include in the Bartlett’s new Manual of Impact. The manual aims to provide researchers at the Bartlett with guidance, stories and practical tips in how to engage, collaborate and innovate with enterprises, policymakers and local communities, so that research conducted is informed but those it impacts. The Bartlett recognises that at the heart of making meaningful impact lies meaningful relationships.

I created four films, including three case study films focussing on the following projects:

Lebanese Yawmiyat (Diaries): Hanadi Samhan, Dina Mneimneh, Hoda Mekkaoui, Luna Akil Nanor, Der Boghossian & Camillo Boano

Aan example of building strong relationships with community partners in a project exploring stories of spatial violence in Lebanon.

Alton Estate People’s Plan: Dr Pablo Sendra

An example of co-designing in a project working with the Alton Estate neighbourhood in London, in reimagining the regeneration scheme proposed by Wandsworth Council with a ‘People’s Plan’.

The Evaluation Exchange: Ruth Unstead-Joss
Exploring building and sharing evaluation expertise in a project that supported community groups with an evaluation challenge.
