Tate Exchange: AND Inclusive

Exhibition film for A New Direction at the Tate Modern

Education charity A New Direction set up a network for London's Special Schools, in order to share best practice around creative education, and collaborate on larger projects. One of these was the recent residency at Tate Modern of ANDInclusive, part of the Tate Exchange programme in the new Switch House building.

Schools bought their students into the space to continue working on creative projects, as well as collaborate, take part in workshops with Studio Wayne McGregor, and interact with the general public. Alongside exhibitions, a symposium, public workshops and performances, the project aimed to educate the public on Special Schools, and the amazing work their students create. Two films were commissioned, the first playing at the Tate when the space was open to the public, and the second as an overarching documentary.
